Swimming
Pools
At Deir Al Kalaa Country Club you can experience swimming
all year round in our 25m Semi-Olympic indoor heated pool and
throughout the summer season in our 33m outdoor heated pool.
Swimwear, floatation aids, goggles etc are available for purchase
from the Club Shop.
Indoor Pool
The indoor pool is supervised by a qualified lifeguard/first
aider and is serviced by the Club's locker rooms located on
the same level and providing 350 lockers each for men and women
along with private changing rooms, shower facilities, vanity
units, hairdryers and a sauna and Turkish steam bath. The temperature
is set at a regular 00 degrees centigrade.
Outdoor Pool
The outdoor pool is supervised by two qualified lifeguards/first
aiders and is serviced by the same locker rooms accessed from
the poolside and along a slip proof corridor.

Basketball
Sitting just above the outdoor tennis court the DAKCC Basketball
Court is highly popular with the younger members. Enclosed in
high fencing and benefiting from floodlights for evening play,
this facility is a firm favorite. Basketballs can be purchased
from the Club Shop or hired from Reception. Rentals require
a deposit.

Tennis Courts
Deir Al Kalaa is very proud of its tennis background. Annual
tournaments are held and the sport is one of the most popular
practiced on site. Tennis partners can frequently be found through
the DAKCC public notice boards. Tennis equipment
is available to buy from the Club Shop or to rent from Reception.
Rentals require a deposit.
Indoor Court
Situated on level -4 the indoor tennis court also provides the
facility for badminton, basketball and five-a-side indoor football.
The court can be reserved at Reception.
Outdoor Court
Situated to the right of the main entrance and accessed via
level -1 the outdoor court has a high fence around its entirety
and is floodlit for evening matches. The court can be reserved
at Reception.

Gymnasium
Home to eight professional standard treadmills and more than
18 exercise machines all supervised by DAKCC's
very own qualified and experienced trainers, the Gymnasium is
the place to work out and maintain a healthy body. An internal
audio visual system unique to the Gym provides cable television
channels for the treadmills and piped 'Deir Al Kalaa Country
Club FM' playing the very best in exercise music and updating
you with DAKCC FM infomercials.
All related equipment is available at the Club Shop and personal
training sessions can be booked upon request at the Reception.

Squash
Not a very common sport, squash is gaining in popularity at
DAKCC due mainly to our two superb squash courts
located on level -4. An annual tournament and spectator galleries
makes this a sport to definitely take up or watch. Squash equipment
can be purchased from the Club Shop or rented from Reception.
Rentals require a deposit.

Bowling Alley
Located on the level -2 of the Club. Deir Al Kalaa Country
Club provides 4 Brunswick Bowling lanes that offer you a gaming
experience not to be missed. An authentic Wurlitzer styled after
the 1946 classic will keep you entertained as will the pictures
of the icons of the era that adorn the walls. Don't forget that
we also have Pool tables as well as Babyfoot and an adjoining
video arcade room.
Open daily from 4.00pm - 11pm / (12pm - 11pm on weekends)

The DAKCC Cybercafe
Located on level -2 this room offers a unique experience in internet and networking. It got a setup of 22 up todate
high tech computers with digital screens for games and internet connection. It also include a special room for internet,
conferences, business center...
Deir Al Kalaa offers a WIFI internet connection almost allover the club premises.

Conferencing Facilities
In our effort to meet the needs of members and the local community,
DAKCC has established two levels of conferencing
facilities, the Conference Room and the Ballroom Conference
Facility. Both facilities are available for booking at Reception.
A deposit is required.

The Conference Room
Situated on level -2 this room is multi-purpose. With a projection screen, lectern, sound system, wireless microphones, individual table top microphones, multi format audio visual playback systems (CD/DVD/PC/CDV/CD-ROM & VHS), conference tables for 0 - 100 participants.

The Ballroom Conference
Facility
Also located on level -1 this 338sq meter room is ideal for
larger gatherings, presentations and exhibits. With direct access
from the main kitchens of DAKCC, a large 250
(seated), 400 (standing) person terrace and a cocktail reception
area serviced by The Club Bar 64sq meters, this facility can
seat up to 350 people inside and hosts some exciting events
and activities throughout the year. The Ballroom Conference
Facility also benefits from a projection screen, lectern, sound
system, wireless microphones, multi format audio visual playback
systems (CD/DVD/PC/CDV/CD-ROM & VHS) available upon request.

Banqueting & Functions
Since opening in 1995, Deir Al Kalaa's unique setting has played
host to more than 300 marriages and over 200 private functions.
We are extremely proud to welcome such important and personal
events to DAKCC and our team is here to ensure
not only the best experience, but impeccable service and attention
to detail to make your event unforgettable. Our on-site catering
company, professional staff and Events Department will work
and coordinate with you from the planning stage right through
to the valet service you'll receive as you arrive for your special
day. No request is too small and no concern too large for us
to handle with the competence that will allow you to relax and
enjoy yourselves in the capable hands of the DAKCC Team.
